A picture is worth a thousand words ... the smile, on the faces of our guests, and their confidence before our camera, clearly reflect their passage through our rural house ...

The rural house Olazi offers, as a private activity and for an affordable price and not included in the rates, different hiking routes through the mountains, cliffs, mythology, culture and history of our town.

From groups of 10 people and with a limit of 25, two experienced guides will accompany the wishing guests to make different trekking hikes of approximately 5 hours each, where they will visit the Peñas de Aia, the cliffs of Jaizkibel, the flysch of Sakoneta and the natural park of Artikutza.

In these routes, besides enjoying the magnificent view that the Basque coast offers us, we will have the option of learning a little more about our history, our mythological characters, megalithic culture and the facts and experiences that have marked the character and the personality of our town.

At Olazi, we are surrounded by an unbeatable panorama. Orienting us towards the east, we find fantastic sunrises that slowly illuminate the majesty of the Peñas de Aia.

In the northwest, we see Mount Jaizkibel, the entrance to the port of Pasaia with the sea in the background on the horizon, the village of Errentería, and bird's eye view of the Oiartzun valley.

Finally, if we look towards the south and the west, we can see a completely green mountain, forest and meadow dotted with white herds of sheep and from where you can see incomparable summer sunsets.

The panoramic that surrounds us united to the relaxing silence of which we only wake up with the song of the birds, invites to the tranquility and to the interiorization in oneself. Moments of which, in many occasions, the routine of life, does not allow us to enjoy as often as we would like.
